The HBSMR Events/Activities module is used to record details of activities that have lead to information being gathered or judgements being made about the presence or absence of monuments in a locality. Activities take place at a fixed point in time in particular circumstances, which decide the methods, and techniques applied, these in their turn determining the results obtained. Activities that may be recorded using the Event/Activity detail form include excavations, evaluations, watching briefs, earthwork surveys, photographic surveys, geophysical surveys etc.
The Event/Activity module can also be used to record details of land management, maintenance or repair works. In these instances, details of the work undertaken should be recorded as an activity type. Additional Event Record Types and related activity types can be set up by the HBSMR System Administrator.
